Love Night Club Shut Down Indefinitely

According to http://dcfab.thefabempire.com Love Night Club has been closed for good. They wrote the following.
It’s the end of an era — The Alcohol Beverage Regulation Administration has closed Love Nightclub indefinitely at a hearing on Friday after an eruption of various violent incidents over the holidays. Owners are expected to appeal the decision at a hearing on Tuesday.
Love, despite it’s drawbacks, has been the epicenter of urban entertainment nightlife for years since it was known as Dream. Still, with crowds changing, the appeal to smaller lounges in D.C. and violence has caused the mega-club to lose it’s mass appeal in recent years.

I have been going to Love since it was called Dream, yeah I am an old head, but if it is true that the club is shut down, it will be a huge loss to the DC Night Life scene. In 2009 Love Night Club grossed the 16th highest annual revenue in the country.
What do you think? Should love attempt to re-open, or has DC Night Life become dominated by lounges and smaller venues? What were some of your favorite events that you attended at Love Night Club? I would have to say in 2009 my top 3 events would be Jay-z, Jeezy, and Beyonce for the Inauguration in first place. Drake's first time appearing at Love would be my second favorite. My third favorite event in 2009 would be the Bacardi flavors event, despite losing my cell phone that night. I also attended a foam party at Dream when Panorama used to host parties there.
If this is the end of Love Night Club, we will always have the memories, and plus Talk Of DC and LGI have weekly events that keep the city buzzin!!!
