Adidas' newest ad campaign features Snoop Dogg.  Now I'm a bit familiar with Snoop and know he's got some old chucks in the closet but the collaborations by Adidas are looking pretty good too.

Arenas is no longer an Adidas endorsed athlete

ADIDAS CUTS ARENAS

Athletic wear company Adidas announced on Friday that they would no longer be endorsing Gilbert Arenas.  The decision came in response to Arenas' guilty plea to felony gun possession charges.

"In response to Gilbert Arenas' guilty plea to felony charges, Adidas has terminated its agreement with the athlete, effective immediately," said Stephanie Von Allmen, a spokeswoman for Adidas.  "Beyond this statement we have no further comment at this time."

So now not only is Arenas not getting his game checks (over $147,00 per game), but he is no longer getting Adidas checks as well.  This was a quick decision by Adidas, especially considering Nike never dropped Kobe Bryant while he was going to court for rape accusations.

Adidas had previously said it was "evaluating" its' relationship with Arenas, when this whole ordeal started.  Arenas had been with the company since 2003.

I certainly can't blame Adidas, a gun toting felon is not exactly the image you want to project in commericals and billboards across America and throughout the world.

At this point, it doesn't look like Arenas will even need those sneakers for the rest of this season, because his return to game action this year is highly unlikely.  The situation seems to keep getting worse Gil, who also voiced his displeasure with the Wizards organization this week, for "not having his back" during this difficult time for him.

Maybe Nike will pick him up.

UNDFTD is one of America's premier sneaker outlets.  They are teaming up with Adidas once again to release a new Consortium release dubbed Rod Lavor OG and features a suede upper.

Jeremy Scott partners with Adidas to bring a lighter version of the rainbow high's in an all-blacke pattern in full leather.  These should be hitting tier 0 accounts at the beginning of the new year as well.

Adidas Originals partners with 4 different boutiques for the collection including UNDFTD in LA, Bodega in Boston, Sole Service in Oslo, and Solebox in Berlin.

Jeremy Scott offers a very extravagant piece for Adidas Originals.  It features a sequin pattern with metallic silver accents.  Jeremy Scott always defies minimalistic designs with pieces that are out of the ordinary.  They should drop within the next couple weeks.
