Do you think the District should recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states? Today the District's elections board blocked an effot to hold a referendum on whether same-sex marriages should be recoginzed in the District of Columbia or not. City Council member David A. Catania said that he plans to introduce a proposal that would allow same-sex marriages to be performed in the District.
