“On designing a window-display of Maison Hermès, I intended to express people’s daily ‘movements’ with a suspicion of humor. There are moments when I perceive a hidden presence of a person in the movements born naturally in daily life. I created a design where one can perceive someone behind the scarves as if life were being breathed into them. The window is designed with an image of woman projected on to a monitor. The scarf softly sways in the air in response to the woman’s blow.” – TY

Tetsuya Suzuki previews a new suitcase designed by Gabriele Pezzini, who is the design director for Hermes. It features an aluminum carbon construction with leather details wrapped around and also features silver snap buttons. Hermes is the choice premium leather luggage brand and always goes with a minimalistic approach, unlike Louis Vuitton.

Liberty is a British company that has recently collaborated with scarves icon Hermes on a limited edition range of scarves and ties. Bali Barret is the creative director of Hermes silk and the helping hand in this collection. It combines the Tana Lawn flower print from Liberty and the Hermes ex Libris logo. Their are six color variations and will be available from now until the beginning of 2010 with special pop-up events.
