The man or woman of your dreams has just walked in to your life. They fulfill you in countless ways except for one -- in the sack. Everyone has their own personal top qualities they want in the opposite sex. Usually top on the lists are: trustworthy, faithful, loyal, good communicator, humor, body type, education etc. I could go on for days, but it is important to have a strong intimate relationship and connection with your sweetheart as well. If you think the one hundred ways they satisfy you in other departments will make up for the lack of sexual connection you would be wrong. "In a relationship, you need to have that sexual component to maintain intimacy and a connection and keep the romantic chemistry going," says psychiatrist Gail Saltz, author of The Ripple Effect: How Better Sex Can Lead to a Better Life. "If your sex life is lacking, it can lead to problems outside the bedroom and create resentment, frustration, and emotional distance." The lack of a connection and intimacy could lead to many negative things including infidelity and the eventual demise of the relationship.
