This year Wale and UCB will be the head house band for the VMAs next month, reports the Associated Press. Wale will be joining other performers such as Jay-Z, Beyonce, Green Day, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. The VMAs will air Sunday, September 13 at 9pm.
VH1 and MTV will airGet Schooled on September 8th to bring awareness to the public educational system. Above is a clip of Lil Wayne promoting the show.

These are songs people know and love and we really made this happen in a short time. I was just enjoying myself. I had the mic and I was really going. And when 'Best I Ever Had' came on, I felt like dancing. It was a great moment. I wanted to run across stage, I wanted to jump into the crowd."
